North Central Newfoundland Club (NCNC) does not supervise nor
guarantee the ethical practices of these breeders. This
list is a service provided to NCNC members and should be used
as information only. The NCNC urges all prospective buyers
of Newfoundlands to inform themselves thoroughly before purchasing.
The
list includes the member name, their kennel name and contact information
as provided by them. It also notes whether the individual
is a member of the Newfoundland
Club of America (NCA).
The
Newfoundland Club of America, Inc. is a not-for-profit organization
formed in 1930 to encourage and promote the quality of pure-bred
Newfoundland dogs and to do all possible to bring their natural
qualities to perfection. The NCA is the sanctioned parent breed
club for the Newfoundland and is a member of the American Kennel
Club. Sound and responsible breeding practices are
important to the NCA, as evidenced by an enforced Ethics Guide. The
NCA and sanctioned Regional Clubs actively support canine health
research and provide adoption assistance for Newfoundlands.
