The North Central Newfoundland Club

A Newfoundland Club of America sanctioned regional club serving Chicago, northern Illinois, Wisconsin and eastern Iowa.

The North Central Newfoundland Club, Inc. (NCNC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and protecting the Newfoundland dog. The club promotes this goal by organizing and sponsoring dog shows and working trials, including annual water and draft tests and a Regional Specialty. Open to families and individuals who enjoy working and playing with their Newfs, we also provide plenty of fun and educational activities throughout the year including water and draft workshops and several annual parties. All this information can be found in our Newf News newsletter which is published every other month.

Founded in 1970, the NCNC now boasts over 200 members. We encourage members to attend quarterly meetings where we discuss club business and plan forthcoming events. These meetings are also a great way to meet other Newfie enthusiasts and to take advantage of the wealth of knowledge our club members have gained over their many years working, playing with, and caring for their Newfoundlands.
