"A Home for Every Newf"
The North Central Newfoundland Club Inc.
is a non-profit organization recognized by the American Kennel Club
and the Newfoundland Club of America to do all in its power to protect
and advance the interests of Newfoundland dogs.
A Newfoundland should not be acquired casually
or disposed of lightly but sometimes an owner's circumstances change
and the Newf is unsuited to his/her present home. It is on
these rare occasions that we try to find a permanent new home where
the Newfoundland will be loved and respected for its unique combination
of qualities.
Upon request, an Application and a Placement
Agreement can be sent to you. The Application assists us in
finding the right Newfoundland for your family so you can provide
a permanent home. The Placement Agreement requires that the
Newfoundland be spayed or neutered and if for any reason the Newf
becomes available again, the dog must be returned to us. When
the Application and Placement Agreement are returned, your family
is placed on our waiting list that usually consists of eight to ten
families. It is not how long you are on our list, however,
that determines when a Newf will be placed with you, but rather the
right Newf for you and your family.
