Back by popular demand, Barbara and Roger Frey will join us to present a two day water seminar. This seminar is intended for all levels of knowledge and training and is broken into two day- long sessions. The first day will be geared for beginners and those working on junior level exercises. The second day will build on skills learned the previous day, focus on senior level exercises, and feature individualized problem solving for all levels.
Saturday – Day I: No previous training is required. This session will focus on the basics of getting you and your dog in the water and will teach the basic skills for water training: basic control, retrieving, carrying, and pulling. At the end of the day you will learn the fun of water work and have the skills necessary to train your dog for the junior water exercises.
Sunday – Day II: This session is a building block on skills learned in day one. Senior water exercises will be explained and demonstrated. The focus will be on improving current training techniques and learning and practicing junior and senior dog exercises. The second half of this day will feature one-on-one individualized problem solving.
